Favorite Albuquerque concert experience: When I went to see the Eagles concert at the Pavilion it was one of the best concerts I have ever experianced. The weather could of been better. It was a warm night. Just as I was enjoying my favorite song, "Hotel California" I took a look toward the night sky and saw a falling star. The music was excellent but with the added influence of the atmostphere it made the concert even more special.

Favorite Albuquerque concert experience: My favorite concert experience was my very first concert that I had ever been to which was Counting Crows, Maroon 5 and John Mayer. We were right up close and it was just awesome to be so close to these great artist. It was one of the best nights of my life

Favorite Albuquerque concert experience: My best experience was the John Mayer/Maroon 5 concert! It poured on us halfway through the set, but for those of us that waited it out were treated to an amazing performance by John Mayer with a gorgeous rainbow in the background! One of the best concerts of my life!

Favorite Albuquerque concert experience: My favorite Albuquerque concert experience was when my husband and I got to see Dave Matthews Band last year. The ability to see my favorite band live was amazing. They are truly one of the best performers. The feel of the drums and the scream of the guitars gives you the chills. The clear sound of Dave's voice is heaven sent. Truly, all my experiences at Journal have been great, but this was long await and so worth the wait.

Favorite Albuquerque concert experience: I attended the Mix Master Mike DJ concert at the sunshine theatre when I was a sophomore in HS. I was instantly amazed by the things he could do with two turntables. I got my own set of turntables and started spinning. In high school I DJ’d parties and in college I was eventually able to DJ a rave. Now, I am not able to spend much time as I used to at the ones and twos, but that one concert had a very profound influence on my life and it is still something I am passionate about today.

Favorite Albuquerque concert experience: My favorite concert experience was being a couple of rows away from Tim McGraw when he pops up on the big screen, then we see he is just a few rows away, girlfriend really enjoyed that!

Favorite Albuquerque concert experience: I really enjoyed seeing Boston about 12 years ago but I'd have to say John Cougar and John Fogerty completely knocked me and my family out last year at the Pavilion. We went to see Cougar because we had named our two pups (born on St. Patrick's Day '05) Jack & Diane. Our two young kids truly enjoyed the song, but we were blown away by John Fogerty's down home music and attitude.

Favorite Albuquerque concert experience: How do you get to the Journal Pavilion again? In July 2003, my friend and I made a four hour journey to a John Mayer show. Neither of us was going to let a lack of sleep stop us, but the lack of directions seemed to do the trick. We eventually found our way to the Journal Pavilion after getting several different directions. We thoroughly enjoyed the show, and hit the road back to Portales. I slept the entire next day, but it was worth it for John Mayer and the Counting Crows!

Favorite Albuquerque concert experience: A blood red sunset was cast behind the stage of the Journal Pavillion. A rock band Jimmy Eat World was about to perform the opening set for the band Green Day. I had other things on my mind though. I had waited six months to see Green Day, every passing second was one more second closer to seeing Green Day. So, one could understand my discomfort with having to watch an opening act take up Green Day's performance time. But as Jimmy Eat World's music began pouring out of the speakers, my earlier opinions sharply changed. Suddenly, I began engaged in the music, singing to it. The energy I felt, the turbulent weather, and the pacifying songs combined to make, for me, the best concert experience ever.

Favorite Albuquerque concert experience: Several years ago, I convinced my crowd-phobic parents to attend a Gipsy Kings concert with me. We sat out on the grass at the Journal Pavilion, sung along with "Bamboleo," enjoyed the beautiful weather, and watched the sun set over the band. The crowd on the lawn was large, happy, and always moving. I may never be able to convince my folks to go to another concert, but I will cherish the memory of sitting on the grass listening to the Gipsy Kings forever.

Favorite Albuquerque concert experience: Concerts in Albuquerque are quite an experience, or so I have heard. Having arrived in the area about a year and a half ago, I have had my share of elementary school christmas concerts, beginner band concerts, even a talent show or two. But where was I when Green Day played? It was a school night. What about Beck last week? Oh, yeah...work.
I haven't gotten to enjoy the hush from the crowd as the lights come up on the stage when you know your favorite song is about to explode from the amps. Or the energy that surrounds you from the plethora of fans.
My favorite Albuquerque concert experience? It could be this one.
Richard from Albuquerque
Favorite Albuquerque concert experience: Chili Peppers at Journal (sorry) Pavilion.

Favorite Albuquerque concert experience: I'd have to say that my favorite, most memorable concert experience. Was the Dave Matthews Band at the Journal Pavilion. I attended the concert with several of my closest friends and we all had lawn seating. We all pitched in on a limo service and decided to make a day of it. It actually started to rain alitlle bit that night which actually added to the enjoyment. We all danced and laughed and had a great time. to top it off, dave played long black veil as his encore which absolutely topped of the night the best way possible. except of course for the frontier that we got on the way home. "Dave Day", best concert ever!!!

Favorite Albuquerque concert experience: I think my best concert experience would have to be Green Day last year. I have been to countless concerts and that one is going to be my favorite show ive seen. It was an awsome show. During the song Holiday when billie joe said these lyrics "Hear the sound of falling rain" it began to sprinkle. I thought that was so cool and that what made the concert so memorable to me.

Favorite Albuquerque concert experience: Several concerts at the Journal Pavilion, it is a wonderful location and something the city can be totally proud of. Rob Thomas with MatchBox 20 sticks out in my mind, I was blown away with his vocal talent, amazing.
